Thrilled to report Patho-DBiT, just published in Cell 😊. It allows us to directly “see” all kinds of RNA species on the same clinical FFPE tissue slide, including mRNA, miRNA, snRNA, snoRNA, tRNA, etc, and splicing isoforms, genetic alterations (SNV, CNV, etc). Really a fun,…
Matthias @labs_mann presenting at #scg2024 - impressive! And multiple single cell proteomics talks, it’s coming of age! Matthias predicts increased scaling in coming years, too. Let’s get ready with translation models.

We developed an imaging-free spatial genomics technology where DNA barcodes diffuse to connect locally. Using UMAP, we reconstructed the physical locations of these barcodes, transforming spatial transcriptomics into purely molecular biology. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Wow, @nature has retracted the 2020 Poore et al. cancer microbiome paper that we showed (journals.asm.org/doi/10.1128/mb…) was deeply flawed. The retraction date is tomorrow so I can't yet read the official notice, but I'll update when I can @RetractionWatch @ProfBootyPhD
