Twitter was unrivaled as a platform on days like today. Easy to navigate w/ curated, reliable, realtime info. Today really highlighted how terrible this app has become, filled with monetized accounts racing to post wrong info, and the blue check stupidity crowding out real info
The freaks attacking that woman for being body slammed from a place of White Privilege are of course right that there’s nothing you can say to stop a cop from attacking you: “I’m a professor,” “I’m 12,” “I'm your wife,” “this is my house an you broke in,” “woof woof woof,” etc.
