China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) released the shortlist of candidates bidding for the wind turbines procurement tender for a GW size wind energy portfolio in China. The tender consists of portfolio of 11 wind farms with a total installed capacity of 1442MW.

Our 100MW Kelan wind farm in Shanxi is in operation. The wind farm now has generated 63.32GWH to the grid. Taking advantage of local wind resources, the farm provides clean energy to the Xinshuo grid power reducing air pollution in the region.

The news proposal by the National Energy Administration encourages the operating Chinese renewable energy projects which are already under the subsidy category to revise their PPA to get converted to the grid-parity scheme.


The Chinese National Energy Administration has released an exposure draft of Energy Law on April 10. The energy law is designed for targeting China’s energy reform, building a unified market, drafting competition regulations, and pushing modern energy management.
