Sometimes it’s good to ask yourself where you might be if you didn’t take control of your life. For others it’s time to ask where you could be if you took control today.
If you can train every rep, fully believing there are 100 fans cheering you on in the gym. Or feel the same peace and serenity achieved on a beach watching the sunset, during your days at your stressful job. You have attained control of your mind.
Bad day at work? Get rid of your entitlement and think about how ecstatic someone from a third world country would be for the opportunity to provide for their family. There are no inherently bad or good days. Only good or bad reactions.
Base your goals in your behaviour. You cannot control outcomes, however you can control yourself.
Respect the process, without it there would be no goal to attain.
