I’m tired of hearing about parents not letting little Johnny play Football because they want him to focus on baseball. Football will make him mentally and physically tough. This will translate to the diamond. Boys become young men under the Friday night lights.

I want to give a special shout out to the Marshall Academy Softball team. They won on the field today 12-1 over North Delta in a game swirling with emotions for everyone involved. But they also wore green (their normal colors are red, white and blue) and wore "Playing for Lindy"…

With the season we had, it's hard to celebrate, but Mississippi State did set a record average attendance number this year at Dudy Noble. 11,094 fans per game. Also the highest in the nation, and in college baseball history.
