Played very well. Just lacked a bit of quality in final third to break down the 10 men. Midfield balance looked the best it’s been all season. Varane and Morgan both excellent. Encouraging signs and take a point against top of the table. Boro got a spanking so bring on Tuesday!
Gotta be happy to see us fight back for a point. Saito & Varane both excellent. Smyth 2nd half made a huge effort and was unlucky not to have more than one assist. Celar sadly seems to have no natural instinct to be in the right place for crosses. Morgan looks a player given time

How on earth did we manage to not score a single goal from open play in that game. Some of the best football we’ve played all season, created a load of chances. Took none. They score with their first shots of each half. FML!! Positives to take but Jesus that’s hard to take

Another hard watch. Lacklustre and slow. No zip or fluidity to our play. I’m all for playing the ball around the back but you have to play quickly and find an out ball. No midfielders showing to beat the press/break lines. Really need Chair back to bring a spark to our attack
