The 16% VAT on LPG products is punitive at this time when Kenyans are struggling to make ends meet and as such should be challenged in court.
I am seeking proper instructions to go to court & challenge the 16% VAT on LPG introduced by the Finance Bill, 2020; I've litigated such issues before in 2018-2019; the housing levy and the increased tax on petroleum products. RT widely.
I don't care how much the government spends in building factories. The only way to jump start economy and create most needed jobs. Not to mention reducing imports and possibilities of exports.
