In 2020, Isabella Kulak was told her ribbon skirt was not appropriate for a formal school event. Isabella spoke up about the incident and was met with an abundance of support! Come late 2020, a bill was put forward to recognize January 4th as National Ribbon Skirt Day. 🥰
