The Democrats have an epistemological problem. Liberals think Bad Ideas are bad because they hurt people’s feelings. When in fact, Bad Ideas are bad because they’re stupid. Trump isn’t awful because he’s a bully, he’s awful because he’s a moron; cruelty is a symptom of idiocy.
Retiring the word “folks” in American political discourse. There’s nothing folksy going on here. It’s a contrivance liberals use to feel blue collar.
This election was a battle between corporate and oligarchic capitalism. One seeks stability, and the other seeks chaos.
Anti-globalism becomes global. Who would’ve thought. Maybe they’ll start building mutually beneficial intergovernmental organizations too. Like a bunch of nations united under common interests…
🚨🚨🚨 IT WAS NEVER ABOUT THE ELECTION ... IT WAS ABOUT TAKING BACK THIS ENTIRE WORLD. WE DID IT.
Dems doing election denial instead of confronting their party’s failures hurts to look at.
Just remembered when Shahid Buttar argued against requiring all cops to wear bodycams. Which is super impressive considering prevailing attitudes. Bodycams lower the odds of cops using discretion for positive reasons and contribute to mass surveillance.
We live in the best of all possible worlds where what’s smart is also good, compassionate, and benevolent. Humans just have a way of choosing dumb grievance instead.
10/ Those are hard things for the left. A firm break with neoliberalism. Listen to poor and rural people, men in crisis. Don't decide for them. Pick fights. Embrace populism. Build a big tent. Be less judgmental. But we are beyond small fixes.
9/ Real economic populism should be our tentpole. But here's the thing - then you need to let people into the tent who aren't 100% on board with us on every social and cultural issue, or issues like guns or climate.
it’s pretty crazy that trump was best friends with jeffrey epstein for minimum 10 years and elon musk introduced his brother to epstein and dated someone he met through epstein and RFK jr is on record to admitting being on the lolita express at least two times
If he won, 2020 was rigged. If he lost, it was rigged again. Good way to know someone is in a cult is if they claim vindication no matter what happens. Evidence and empirical data becomes immaterial. Attitudes and ideology become concrete.
🚨🚨🚨 IT WAS NEVER ABOUT THE ELECTION ... IT WAS ABOUT TAKING BACK THIS ENTIRE WORLD. WE DID IT.
That’s not how elections work. Liberal misanthropy and paternalism have no place in popular movements. If anyone is interested in building a future left wing coalition, their first prerogative should be to dismantle this tendency and ostracize the people who push it.
CNN has a story titled “where the Harris campaign went wrong.” Nope, I won’t read it. Harris ran a great campaign. The story should be titled “where the American people went wrong.”
Why do Trump supporting women always have bad spray tans and bleached white teeth? Is it a class thing?
He’s not speaking to them. He’s reminding Sanders voters the DNC conspired with the media to ensure Hillary’s anointment. The difference being the DNC isn’t constitutionally required to conduct a fair, democratic primary. But they can’t bite that bullet.
