We have left Dover and are en route home. Our ETA at Waingels is 3am. Please do not block the entrance to school. Please be reassured that students are not expected in school until the start of period 4 on Tuesday.
We have left Calais!! Will update when we arrive in Dover and are able to confirm our ETA at Waingels.
Despite the delays, we've actually had a really nice evening and a massive thank you to @ukhomeoffice - the UK border force have done a fab job looking after us!
Further update on the delays we have experienced. We are now awaiting the 10:30pm ferry (9:30pm UK time). This means our current arrival time at school is 1am. All students are fine, fed and watered. Please keep referring to the school website for further updates.
I am extremely happy to report that we are going to be on the 20.55 ferry to Dover. On the plus side, we are looking forward to seeing the sunset over the channel! 🌅
We are still stuck in Calais - waiting in the queue for the French border control. Everyone is well and in good spirits! I will update when I can.

We learnt all about organic orchards and enjoyed tasting all the different types of fruit juice produced at Natur'Pom 🍏🍐🍒🥝.
A very poignant and moving visit to the CWC Longuenesse cemetery this morning. Our students were amazing.
We couldn't go to the snail farm so we brought the snails to the château for an impromptu dégustation! So impressed that so many people tried them! 🐌
Another fantastic visit to Nausicaā this afternoon. C'était génial!
Lunch on the beach. Beach volleyball and sand angels amongst other things. And the rain is staying away!
We rounded off our first day with football and volleyball. A lovely evening outside!
We've thoroughly enjoyed our visit with Bruno at the boulangerie. Now on our way to the Château ...
