Make sure you're asking your users the right questions. It's more important to have a few proper user interviews with no biased questions than having a lot of interviews where you just blaber about your product.

Just finished an extensive QA test for an app. It's insane how many bugs you can find in edge case scenarios. And chances are, in this case, a lot of the users are experiencing a bunch of them. Most exist because of tech debt too.
