With screwed soil chem you can't have a good yield because chem is involved in mineral elements and their availability for plant uptake including toxicity given that soil chemistry affects biological activities but with good chemistry, you can try even if the biology is poor :)

With a screwed soil chemistry you can still have a good crop if the soil biology is vigorous but can you really have a good yield if the the soil biology is messed up?



Not exactly. I think these things are integrated, and one can't do without the other. Additionally, you can't change agronomy with biology because biology is part of agronomy: Biology is merely "The study of.....".
