El delfín del Irrawaddy tiene poblaciones marinas y de agua dulce 🌊💧 Estas últimas habitan en algunos sistemas fluviales como el río Mekong en Camboya, el río Mahakam en Indonesia y el río Ayeryawady en Birmania.
🐬El Inia geoffrensis es conocido como delfín rosado (en Amazonia colombiana), boto (en Brasil) y tonina en el Orinoco (Venezuela, Colombia). Y el Inia boliviensis, conocido como bufeo boliviano. Es el delfín de río más grande: alcanza una longitud de 2,8 m y un peso de 220 kg.
El Sotalia fluviatilis🐬 Es una especie icónica de Suramérica 🇧🇷🇨🇴🇪🇨🇵🇪 Es uno de los delfines más pequeños del mundo, con apenas 1,60 m de longitud y 50 kg de peso.
