WATER TEAM TRAINING Today saw our Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technicians take on a CPD day on the river Teme in Ludlow. Today's training focused on ropework, managing water rescue scenarios and working in/around weirs.

We are pleased to say that Rina was located by @4LeggedCops which was great work! Then a massive thank you to @WestMerciaSAR who provided medical assistance and evacuated her to safety at @SFRS_Bridgnorth @OFFICIALWMAS then arrived to convey her to Hospital. #jointworking #heros

Great work demonstrated by PD Blaze, having located a high risk missing Female, suffering from dementia. Located by Blaze, having collapsed, wet & suffering from hypothermia, after having crawled up a bank, into trees. The lady is now getting the help she needs, life saving work.
