I choose to focus only on the positives today. Example? Matt Eberflus positively needs to be fired. There. It's not so hard to be positive now, is it?
Would I hire Eberflus as a DC? Yes, he's proven to be a good one... just as he has proven to be entirely out of his depth as a head coach. I wanted him fired at the end of last season. I doubled down after Washington. Now? What is left to say? Everybody knows he needs to be gone.
ClusterFlus. A new word coined by Lester, own it and make it happen Bears fans...
Eberflus is trying to achieve "complementary press conferencing" so that "we can all be on the same page, have appropriate synergy and make the proper evaluations that we are engaged in the process of blah blah blah blah nonsense coachspeak blah blah blah..."
My plan going forward if I were in charge at Halas Hall? Fire Eberflus & Reardon before they leave the building. Hire Lovie Smith as interim HC (he knows the D already). Promote Ryan Griffin as interim OC (unless somebody better is available).
Just take Caleb out at this point. This #Bears OL is so depleted and injured There's no positive development coming from keeping him out here in this one behind this makeshift group. He's just getting clobbered all day
Most of the time it's not a coaching issue when fans want coaches fired. Sometimes it is, though, and this is one of those times.
Her: "Wow you are really on pins and needles today, you worried about the election?" Me: "Election? Is that today? No, I'm concerned about the NFL trade deadline this afternoon..."
Me: "We were just buzzed by a B-2 bomber out of Whiteman..." (Whiteman AFB is about 175 miles from here) Her: "How do you know it was out of Whiteman?" Me: "Because the only other place they base out of is Diego Garcia in the Indian ocean." Her: "So? You are just assuming..."
A co-worker said to me "I'll bet you are really upset about the Bears game!" My honest answer? "Upset? No. Angry? Emotional? No. Disappointed? Yes of course. But upset? I don't get upset over games other people are playing, that I have no part in." Keeping it real.
Just watched the Vikings/Rams on NFL+ (was at band practice during the game). On the one hand, the missed facemask didn't cost Purple the game (huge sacks, inaccurate throws, allowing 28 points did). On the other hand, that missed call was so bad it resembles zebra game fixing.
Roquan may well turn it around, he's great... but so far he's not having a good night.
Niners WR Brandon Aiyuk held out to limit the risk of him losing his big payday. He got paid, and now he is financially protected with his ACL diagnosis. The massive injury risk NFL players take is why I will NEVER be against a player getting his big paycheck whenever/however.
Requesting an update, feel free to put us all on blast about how you were right and the rest of the NFL world was wrong. Use as many details as you like, we sure would like to know what you think about it these days.
Sorry not sorry but all of you are wrong. I’m ALWAYS a trade down guy. That being said Chicago got robbed. It’s obvious you guys don’t know the NFL Draft trade value chart. Ryan Poles has shown his cards. Total dope. If CAR pick Stroud or Young they should be NFC South favs
Who knew that win/loss records are not a quarterback stat? Apparently, a lot of people don't realize that.
NFL fans watching Patrick Mahomes have less TDs and more INTs than Box Nix while throwing for 154 yards and 2 INTs against the 49ers to move to 6-0
A mom reports end of one, Knox County over Southwest Livingston 22-6.
That zero-win Detroit record is safe for another year... I wonder if Lions players from 2008 pop the champaign corks like the '72 Dolphins do?
Feels so good NOT seeing the Bears on this top 10 list this early.. so used to it LOL
