How am I supposed to get my priority tickets for Peter Kay when the O2 priority app is down 😫😫😫

Voice For Care Home Residents Reposted

Great! Not even 10 and the website isn't working. What's the point of @O2 priority when you can't get passed the log in page! #O2Down #PeterKey

Doesn’t bode well when the @TheO2 priority app doesn’t work an hour before the @peterkay_co_uk O2 presale starts 🤯🤬

We have just received this message from one of our members. This @GillianKeegan is the reality of the guidance - time to change it, time to bring it in line with everyone else - or do you think this is ok? @sajidjavid @DHSCgovuk makes no sense!? #rightsforresidents

Please record the awkward moment when you tell them you’ve spent most of your career campaigning to have people from Eastern Europe deported.😉

In the trophy room with Novak's brother Djordje.

Is this really acceptable - are you restricted from seeing your family like this @sajidjavid @GillianKeegan - time to do some #LevellingUp of care home guidance and give our loved ones their rights back isn’t it #rightsforresidents

Christmas Day was Dad's last day and due to an outbreak it will be at least 25th Jan before he'll see his wife again. He hasn't tested positive and is fully jabbed and LFTd regularly. How is this "living with Covid"?

Voice For Care Home Residents Reposted

With community cases rising it’s inevitable care homes will close for outbreaks. PLEASE if you haven’t, make sure your loved one in care has an #essentialcaregiver, they can still visit during outbreaks. There is NO reason to be refused #rightsforresidents rightsforresidents.co.uk/essential-care…

How would you feel if you had to isolate for 14 days after going out for Coffee or Xmas dinner (just because you aren’t fully vaccinated).Apparently this is the latest guidance for Care Home Residents💔. I don’t think this is proportionate/fair @RobinSwannMoH?#MentalHealthMatters

Sad to see the guidance limiting numbers of visitors to residents in care homes -and that more guidance is issued about such critical issues without consultation with people drawing on or working in care. Places more stress on our teams and families #carehomes @JohnCampaign

Dad couldn’t even hear what we was saying behind Perspex screen

This is a much more positive approach…

Just had wkly stats for visitors in our #carehomes. 1001 visits, majority of those in room, others preferring other communal area, some still preferring trip out, outdoor meet or a screened/protected visit. Visiting/ECGs being reinforced regularly too in all comms @JohnCampaign

2 days earlier, I was trying to stay 2m away from my mum at my dad’s burial after he died of Covid (no funeral as churches were closed). However, I had to hold her up when her legs buckled with the sheer upset. Just mum and I buried him. We had neither cheese nor wine.

For people living in care, contact with their family is all the more vital. But it has become a postcode lottery which @CareQualityComm has done little to end. It is astonishing & unacceptable that they haven't taken a proactive role👇 relres.org/xmas-isolation/ #EndIsolationInCare

Um, so do you, personally, want a team at Christmas or do you want the people who are special to you? Better still, would you like the right to choose?

#InLocoFamilia Residents in care homes are not alone... they are surrounded by kind and caring teams who have been by their side before and during the pandemic. The very same people who leave their own families again, to bring joy, love and specialist care every day. @PeetAnita

Dominic Raab defended this picture because they were "having a drink after the formal business has been done". In that same lockdown a care worker who had just finished her shift was fined £200 for sitting alone in her car at a local beauty spot.

Imagine that you couldn’t attend the funeral of someone you loved and then you see the Deputy Prime Minister defending Downing Street drinks because *they’d* had a gruelling day?! To those of you who don’t have to imagine I am truly sorry. The PM is a disgrace.

This is fantastic to hear and as it should be - we are really grateful to @CoxonGeorge for showing how it can and should be done! #rightsforresidents

I’ve just written to all of our family carers & loved ones encouraging them to become an #ECG if not one already to provide extra #personcentredcare this time of year especially with the threat of omicron approaching 👍👍👍🤞
