While I do not plan to completely leave this app at least for the foreseeable future I do have friends moving on and I’d like to stay in touch if possible so I am now on here as an alternative. Many of you have been crucial to my online social circle for years now. Love you all
90s kid here but same applies - our childhoods are unrecognizable and almost fables to todays youth. This was very much a thing. There’s been a noticeable downturn in the world 2010 on. Many could just *feel* the fundamental shift. I certainly did.
Did parents in the 80s really allow their kids to roam freely, or is that just a portrayal seen in movies?
My daughter has been obsessed with Lilo & Stitch. As a OG fan warms my heart She’s been watching the Series (canon to the OG 4 films) on D+. After 20 years it still holds up! Also hit me L&S perfectly fits the Monster Taming genre boom of the era. No wonder I always loved it.
While the Wii vers is my least favorite version of the game (GCN & Wii U clear as the original & definitive visions) I absolutely adore TP & as time has gone on & a couple replays later it’s only grown stronger for me. Takes what ALttP & Ocarina did before it & cranks it to 100

Absolutely hate parking garages. I’m not generally claustrophobic except for in those. Everyone trying to maneuver their car in a tight space. Makes my anxiety soar.
I’d give anything to see Link & Adol team up for just one adventure. Both are so similar not only their character but the way their games are structured. Some of the cutscenes I see with him & Karja in Ys X I can’t help but imagi Link in her place being total badasses together ⚔️

I really want to understand how someone who is gay and vocal about LGBT causes (basically a progressive/wokie) can be a fan of Dragon Quest lol I mean, DQ is a franchise with a strong Christian imagery, traditionalist, etc, basically everything u guys hate. Make it makes sense 🤷♂️
Absolutely hated that I called a certain moment early on in Ys X 🤣 It’s one of those things that I’m not even mad about it was just so dumb & obvious based on a long running series inside joke ☠️

I mean..2D Z has always had its audience. It was always going to do well let’s be real. Just like Mario there has been no question that both 2D & 3D Z could successfully, and concurrently, run alongside each other. That has always been the right path forward

I got a late start for both of these I always knew a lot about FF esp within my friend circle (& DQ to a lesser extent) but never got the games. With FF it was really the GBA/PSP era that broke the ice for me finally with Dawn of Souls & Crisis Core. For DQ.. much later with XI

I appreciate all the Celceta setup references but not sure I’m sold on this entry being so early in the timeline (between II & IV) being 100% necessary. *yet* anyway Anyway, having a blast with X. Classic Ys at its finest & glad to be back to the series. It’s my fave after all
