Cool to have Untangling Critical Race Theory be a finalist in 2024 IVP Readers' Choice Awards! You can vote for it in the category of Cultural Engagement at this link...voting ends Wednesday! ivpress.com/pages/2024-rea…
Last night, of course, was nothing but an exhibition, the bait for a massive money grab, but now I’m laying here this morning slightly embarrassed, reflecting on what it says about me that I’d genuinely hoped it would be something more…
Me representing everyone who’s staying up past 1am scrolling YouTube for old Tyson clips to make sure my kids understand…
I agree completely. And I can consistently do so while acknowledging that some form of systemic racism/white privilege DOES exist.
Blaming white people for your problems is not going to get your anywhere. It's racist, it's wrong, it's a waste of time, and it's a distraction.
And this would be called…reparations, no?
Trump announces reparations for white people. He says he will ask the Justice Department to penalize colleges that consider diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and fine them so he can pay “restitution” to white people who he considers the real victims of racial discrimination.
Social media was destined to read exactly the same way this week no matter who won the election. All that would change is the response below the names: gloating/despairing, the assumption of having restored/lost the soul of our country, the certainty of moral evil/rescue, etc…
He’s right, 100% right.
There will always be pockets of genuine hatred, racism, and misogyny, but the vast majority of that red you see across the map in 2024 isn’t so much a vote “for” Trump, but an intentional stand against the perception and experience of radical social Progressivism. Discuss.

WatchingTrump’s MSG rally: I’ve always understood why my orthodox, believing Christian friends/fam despise what 2024 Progressivism represents in its worst forms. But it’s not as clear to me why those same people fail to despise what 2024 Conservatism represents in its worst forms
Perspective reversal…

Folks who’ve accepted the Good News sometimes struggle to absorb this kind of bad news…

Book it…
Scheduling tweet for 2 weeks from now: X party lost because they ran an extremely weak candidate whose deficits overshadowed their opponent's many flaws and unpopularity.
Really love what this thread by @PatrickKMiller_ represents. Haven’t seen the book, but this is the way…
🧵 Over the last 15 years, social demolition crews have taken the place of our leaders. You find them in politics, healthcare, education, the church & beyond. They share a passion for anti-visions: Knowing what you’re against, not what you’re for. That movement is dying.
If I could hear Christ praying for me in the next room, I would not fear a million enemies. Yet distance makes no difference. He is praying for me. — Robert Murray M’Cheyne
Church, CRT became a thing in the 1990s precisely because of how UNTRUE this take is…don’t fall for it
For those who aren’t old enough, you cannot imagine how little race tension there was in this country before Obama got into power and started stoking those flames. It was here, sure. But it was so small you hardly knew it existed. Then, the communist got power.
Just seeing this solid review of UntanglingCRT from an unexpected but welcome source: baptiststandard.com/departments/re…
And for Christian parents interested in a practical resource that can help them navigate the problems and possibilities of youth sports, be sure to follow @BrianSmithAIA and @Uszynski32 They've got a fantastic book project in the works that's going to be super helpful
Will I get in trouble for suggesting I’d rather be voting for one of these two in November than the two we’re being offered?
