Looks like a road throwback uniform could be on the horizon for Texas Football, likely to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1970 National Championship team. I’ve been asking for “away” throwbacks for a few years now, so hopefully these end up being real! #HookEm #Longhorns

Looks like @TexasFootball will not be moving onto the new Nike uniform template this season (if there is one 🤞🏼). My guess is that this for this year’s playoff any Nike participant will wear the Vapor Fusion to showcase it. As of right now Oregon is the only team with it. 🤘🏼

Today the NCAA announced some new rule changes: -Numbers could be issued to a maximum of only 2 players -Players now allowed to wear #0. Who will we see as the first Bama player to wear #0?
With College Football potentially being moved to January/February 2021, it looks we could be seeing a lot of Texas players and staff in next year’s sideline cape.
My biggest gripes with Texas’s current look are that jerseys are way too cluttered, the TV numbers on top of the shoulder pads, and the lighter shade of orange on the Longhorn silhouette. The VY/McCoy era uniforms were cleaner and had the correct shade of orange. 🤘🏼
I have seen so many great things from @OSUniforms @SoonerTracker @GatorsUnis @BamaUniTracker @AuburnUniforms that they have inspired me to create one for Texas! Hoping to be even a smidge as good as these accounts. Hook ‘em! 🤘🏼🐂
