One family's Christmas in the 1960s copied from an 8mm cine film. youtu.be/vpv7EFZ_N0s?si…

A wonderful home movie from an 8mm cine film of a family day out in their Commer Autosleeper Campervan. Dancing to an accordian in the woods this family certainly knew how to have fun! #campervan #homemovie The full film can be watched at ukphotoarchive.org.uk/vintage-family…

For anyone who remembers Christmas in the 1960s this will feel so nostalgic. #christmas #1960s #nostalgia

I recently acquired a collection of photos belonging to Jessie Robertson who lived in #Aberdeen. My favourite item in the box was a Stamp Photo Album, the smallest photo album I had ever seen! You can read more about Jessie and see all the photos at ukphotoarchive.org.uk/blog/2022/7/th…

What a lovely little family these five brothers and sisters are. Taken by a Bolton photographer around the turn of the last century, I hope the boys survived The First World War. #foundphoto #bolton

I have a few wonderful photos from a London County Council school taken around the 1930s. I think they may be Fulham Primary School. Is there anyone who knows? #foundphotos #fulham #school

I love this photo of these happy children in the 1930s. It reminds me of summer days as a child that seem to go on forever! #1930s #foundphotos #familyhistory

I love this early converted campervan from the 1950s. The freedom these people must have had, quiet roads, stopping where they liked. Bliss! #vanlife #campervan #1950s

I was lucky enough to come across a Park School Magazine from 1954. The #Preston school closed in 1969 and I though there may be some ex pupils out there who may be interested in seeing the photos. I have copied the four photos and they can be seen here ukphotoarchive.org.uk/p15281805

I found this lovely photo of the children at a 1950s primary school. It is all carefully named on the back and a check on the more unusual names shows it is the #Sheffield area, the children born 1947 or 48. There is a full list of the names here. ukphotoarchive.org.uk/individual-sch…

I've added new photos to my website remembering when Benny Hill filmed the Rembrandt Cottage sketch in Ashtead Park in 1985. An entire days filming for a 5 second piece! #ashtead #BennyHill ukphotoarchive.org.uk/photos-of-asht…

Am I the only one who just loves finding photos of the inside of people's homes. A little glimpse into the past. This photo taken from an old colour slide from the 1950s is as perfect as the day it was taken. #1950s #oldphotos
