Wild times that there are multiple fighters, similar to Payton Talbott, on the current UFC roster who have never competed, or even attended, a UFC event in an arena filled with fans.
This is an extremely trendy stance to take when a Bellator or PFL champ has any sort of title reign (i.e., Patchy, Kayla, Amosov, etc.). It’s a way for casuals and mainstream MMA media to let people know that they watch more than 1 promotion, but they don’t really believe it.
