This is what my notifications feed has been like for weeks now. Seriously, what the actual fuck has happened to X these days? It’s become like a shite version of BabeStation. (Nick Knowles excepted. He’s lovely. His proper post just happened to land amidst the hurricane of piss.)

One of the toughest posts I’ve made on here. As a kid, Convoy was my favourite movie. To me back then, Rubber Duck was an icon. A legend. A superhero, even. Ever since, deep down, my admiration for Kris Kristofferson has never really gone away. 10-4, good buddy. 💔 Godspeed! 🙏

All the Motorsport going on today 💙 This really gets me in my happy place! A truly special Monaco Grand Prix, 3 BTCC races and, hopefully, the Indy 500 with a minimal rain delay! 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂 May is always such a beautiful month if you’re into motor racing. Hell yeah!! #HappyDays

More of my favourite photos from my time in Springfield. What I love about these is that this was such a special and beautiful time for me, my first time living away from a very toxic family and living with amazing people who became a better family. Think it shows in my face 💙💙

My favourite moment this month, easily, happened on February 16th 💙 That night, a whole bunch of new photos from late 2004 were suddenly added to the Facebook group for my old student flat in 24 Springfield. Photos featuring myself, which I thought were lost. So awesome!!!! 💙🙏

So, February has been positive overall; Some things have happened which are just really cool, other things have happened which weren’t so pleasant but which have needed to happen in order to pave the way for more positive change and, I hope, eventually, more good times ahead. 🙏

So January has been pretty quiet and also pretty character-building(With the tonsillitis I’m now needing to get over being one example of that), but I am otherwise doing well, and never did go missing, as was wrongly reported last week. 🤦‍♂️😝🤦‍♂️ Onwards and upwards, etc! #Progress

So the sheath is off now and Ed is back in business. 😂 (I did feel it was necessary to protect my posts for a while, but recent positive changes in my life have helped give me the confidence to go public again(LOL), plus plenty of time had passed anyway.) Happy days! #Resurgence

Happy New Year to all my… I was gonna say Tweeps, but that’s so 2023! As y’all probably know, Christmas isn’t something I celebrate, and this time of year is about survival for me. I’m hoping I’ve just succeeded again. It helps when New Year’s day is as beautiful as today was!

Deeply shocked and pretty devastated to hear about the loss of Matthew Perry. Friends was the sitcom which I fell in love with when I was growing up, and which also helped keep me sane during Covid, when I binge-watched it during lockdown. Such a legend, gone too soon. RIP 💔😢🙏

So, I’ve been getting some major singing practice in lately. (When I say that, I’ve still never actually had any vocal coaching or training yet!) In the absence of a studio environment, this is my setup: My phone and headphones, while sat in my favourite café. 😂 #GodLovesATrier

I’m thinking I might need to open my X feed to the public again in order to get my posts an extra like or two(Literally that’s all they usually get. Once I got 3. I celebrated!). I recently did a vanity search on Google(Happy 25th, BTW) and this feed had vanished due to privacy!

To be honest, I’ve been wondering how best it was to shoehorn that work of art into my X timeline, so just decided to fly with it.😂 Too bad this site isn’t represented by a bird logo anymore! LOL

Also, thought I’d share this photo I took recently of idiots in a van in Raglan Street(Especially the fuckwit in appropriate brown T-shirt) who thought it was funny to spit on people who walked past. I’ve now labelled that van accordingly.👌 Euthanasia case here! #Dundee #Scum

So, this month, I’ve been prerecording more radio shows, doing more work(Slowly) on my YouTube channel, and after getting my Provisional license renewed, had my first two driving lessons. All while battling and fending off the September onset of SAD. Win win! #Fighter #YOLO #Boom

One thing I noticed on my profile, as it appears on that photo I just posted, is that my insanely long display name with its row of flags appears to segue nicely into the padlock symbol for privacy(Which will soon be coming off when I change the setting back). #AccidentalArt #Win

So, this is my first actual Post as opposed to Tweet, since X has now officially replaced Twitter. Nice! I’d actually grown to associate Twitter with a few toxic memories, so this feels like a new start. And the header photo I uploaded months ago now finally shows on my profile!!

One thing which I’m thinking I’ll be able to do soon is un-protect my account, since this site(Which I instinctively still want to call Twitter) has now seemingly stopped accounts from being publicly viewable without signing in. So, privacy from blocked creeps should be assured!

I’m still using the app which has been installed ever since I first got this phone, and at the moment it’s still called Twitter. But I’m guessing that might change if I go to the App Store and update/Appdate it! #Twitter #X #InTheTransition
