Today grantees of the Labor Agency’s $20-million Farmerworkers Advancement Program are convening to share best practices for reaching workers and enrolling them in these vital programs to learn new skills that will help them reach their goals in a changing labor market.

I was raised on a California ranch, and helping farmworkers obtain more education and job skills has been a focus for my career. @CALaborAgency has committed $20 million to our Farmworkers Advancement program, and it was my pleasure today to address a convening for our grantees.
