All the gnashing of teeth. All the drama. All the sanctimonious bullshit about Musk and Twitter. Do any of you actually have to deal with real world issues? Or is your lame ass social media world the “real world” to you? Because that’s just sad.
Had an amazing conversation with somebody who works in a clinical setting. Conversation was about the lymphatic system. Incredible how clinicians and researchers can compare notes and find how little the two disciplines talk. So much to learn from each other.

Anja has been working on a scapula for a yet to be determined large mammal. She told me that she has stabilized the top so she can flip it over and work on the bottom side. Once done, I’m looking forward to hearing the final determination on the actual species.
Combined no hitter with Eyam’s teammate Maddie for an 8 to 0 win. She truck out the side in the 6th and had a huge hit. Eyam’s day was 5 IP, 0 Hits, 0 Runs, 2 walks and 13 strikeouts. Including a 10 pitch 3 strikeout 5th, against the middle of the order. Proud of the kid.

Dawn bought us tickets to the Western Science Center’s annual fundraiser. There were planes flying acrobatics, Hawaiian dancers and an incredible spread of food. But my favorate part was a picture of Anja scanning some fossils on the big screen. @Slothy_Girl
After a late night saying goodbye to the Quakes, Eyam had his first fall ball game first thing. He started out behind the plate. His teammate Madalyn (tough as nails lefty) threw 4. They switched. He had some rust. Hit his first batter. But he got it together. 1 IP 3ks. Won 15-2
