Well, this certainly seems to be holding true… “The year following an election is usually a disaster. Bear markets have been as common as presidential candidates kissing babies.” - Sam Weinstein

Reading a tweet is a bit like downloading an (attacker-controlled) executable that you instantly run on your brain. Each one elicits emotions, suggests knowledge, nudges world-view. In the future it might feel surprising that we allowed direct, untrusted information to brain.

Some notes: - Tech equities can go up if yields go up - Tech equities can go up if the $ goes up - Inflation is not HOT; its stabilizing - FOMC decision on rate path comes from J. Powell - J. Powell is a freakin dove not a hawk but talks like a hawk to CYA at times - Do not try…

This is a pretty chart

$MSOS 🔸 AdvisorShares Pure US Cannabis ETF Paused due to volatility

Disclaimer: I’m still learning how to be a better trader every day and by no means have it all figured out. One thing I’ve learned over the years that’s helps a ton on days like today is to focus on my plan, don’t watch my P&L. Most of my trades these days take time to setup.…

Starting to see some RSI divergence on many of the sector ETFS. Starting to position for a short term pullback. Reduced a lot of risk today

Short term bullish trade seems overly crowded to me. January effect names doing well, but I’m definitely taking my foot off the gas a bit. Would love a 3-5% pullback

I’m pretty bullish on cannabis long term.

$BA grabbed some Jan puts today. hoping to add a bit higher. a bit too overdone IMHO

Maybe what AI eliminates is not programming jobs but middle management jobs, because companies can be so much smaller that they don't need so many layers of management.
