Working fire 4429 Walden Avenue in Lancaster. Multiple fire companies are on the scene. Walden avenue is shut down east of Pavement Rd.


TRAFFIC ALERT: Walden Avenue is closed between Pavement and Ransom Roads for a commercial structure fire at 4429 Walden Avenue. Please be careful in the area as multiple departments are responding to the scene.

Starting Monday, August 9th, Walden Avenue will be closed to thru traffic from Ransom to Pavement between 7am -2pm for 5 days (weather permitting).

TRAFFIC ALERT: Rehabilitation of the Aurora St. bridge, in the Village of Lancaster, is scheduled to begin on/about March 1. Aurora St. will be closed from Broadway to Pleasant Ave West / St. Mary's Street starting the week of March 1 & will remain closed until approx. June 30.

If there is a fire hydrant near your house or business, please do your part to help keep it clear from ice and snow! In case of a fire, firefighters need to access the hydrant quickly to protect people and property and we appreciate your help!

Strong winds expected this morning. They are expected to dramatically pick up across the area throughout the morning. Winds >40mph anticipated.


A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT OUR AREA THIS AFTERNOON. Winds in excess of 40 mph and frequent cloud to ground lightning are with the storm. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may cause localized flooding.
