If most housing in london were built to this density (five storeys) rather than one or two, we could double the living space in this city.

Michael Fabricant Tory MP says “Nearly a half of voters still don’t know what #Starmer stands for” Here he is, for all intents and purposes, claiming he’s liberal No mention of Tory whatsoever. So what does HE stand for? 🤷🏼‍♀️⬇️ #ToriesDeletingTory

Just a chain slip or a gust and I was dead. No way this homicidal psycho should get away with this on a technicality. UK reg. Not sure how to proceed. Advice welcome. @SafeCyclingEire @GardaTraffic @IrishCycle @AndyCoxDCS @markandcharlie @roadcc @sticky_bottle @theJeremyVine

And another English Mayor protesting the short-sighted cuts to active travel investment. To put the cuts into perspective. The UK govt will now spend as much on active travel for 59m people as the Welsh Govt is for 3m. A bizarre decision from UK govt

I have written with @adamtranter to @Jesse_Norman expressing our concerns about deep cuts to active travel. It makes no sense to do this at a time when people need cheap transport options and we need to work fast to reach net zero. We are urging Government to reconsider.

This is so interesting. And just shows the absurd inconsistencies. Just read final sentence in this adjudication, and ask is audience not able to do same with Gary Lineker?

Lineker is Freelance but here's the BBC reply to a complaint about Chris Packham, also Freelance

I love how hard the right-wing culture war crazies are losing at their own game with the cancellation of Lineker malarkey! 🤣

This post is unavailable.

Complete nonsense. In what world would we NOT want popular media personalities expressing "virtuous" morals to a wide audience??

Oh no !… I suppose at least we might now have some insightful commentary 🤣 Virtue signalling nitwits

Lucky there are no producer guidelines on whether you need to declare facilitating an £800k loan to a prime minister while applying for a job as chairman of a broadcasting organisation….

BREAKING: Gary Lineker to step back from presenting Match of the Day until agreement reached on social media use - @BBCNews

Ridiculous. Keep the license. Cancel the tories at the next election. Use your VOTE.

Everyone should cancel their direct debits for the TV licence....you are effectively just funding the tory PR machine

That's what we call a mic drop

This is dynamite from Kaveh Solhekol on Sky Sports News. Absolutely nails it. He has the Tories and BBC on toast. Well done!! 👏 Take 2 mins and watch👇#garylineker #ImWithGary #MOTD #ToryFascists

It's rapidly unravelling, with all four football pundits - Ian Wright, Alex Scott, Alan Shearer - now announcing they're putting out. Much *more* worrying is the David Attenborough thing, because that's not just about opinion, it's a cancellation of scientific fact.

Fancy deciding whether you're an MP or a candidate for an *insert tv programme for washed up has-beens"?

.@GaryLineker does need to decide though, is he a footie presenter or a candidate for the Labour Party? We discuss on my show tonight on @TalkTV 8pm !

I have informed the BBC that I am very much available for tomorrow’s #MOTD

I wonder whether the BBC has created a situation where anyone prepared to present MOTD tomorrow immediately becomes a de facto supporter of legislation currently being cheered to the rafters by overtly racist, far right leaders across the rest of Europe…
