I echo this gratitude to @AsmJuanCarrillo and his team for their dedication to advancing this bill through the legislature.

CNCA thanks @AsmJuanCarrillo and his staff for successfully seeing AB 2109 through to the end! The bill was signed by @CAgovernor Newsom and is an important step towards making industrial process heat recovery a viable option in CA: a proven technology for self-generating and…

Good news!! @cncacement sponsored bill, Assembly Bill 2109 @AsmJuanCarrillo on Industrial Process Heat Recovery passed the Assembly and Senate. It will now head to the Governor’s office.

While California is leading with legislation on decarbonizing cement, barriers need to be removed to make real change. AB2109 @AsmJuanCarrillo addresses statutory changes needed to open opportunities for industrial heat process recovery-a proven technology used around the world.

Capturing excess heat to produce carbon free electricity is even more sensible considering the intense heat California is facing. Assembly Bill 2109 will remove essential barriers for cement producers and other large energy consumers to employ this proven technology. Let’s make…

I had the privilege to lead a great team at @PCA_Daily's Fly-in in DC this week. Our packed schedule with legislative offices provided opportunities to discuss actions that support industrial decarbonization in CA and NV, as well as key issues such as the CCU Parity Act.

I'm visiting legislative offices in Sacramento this week in support of AB 2109 on Industrial Process Heat Recovery; a proven technology for generating carbon free electricity. Our team includes Bruce Magnani, Matt Hinck, Debbie Wells, and Dylan Finley.

I am so proud of our outstanding team at CNCA! @cncacement

Find a squad like this one and you'll be amazed at what a small group can accomplish for a large industry! I'm proud to be flanked by everyone in our starting five :) #pros @cncacement

I am proud of CNCA's new website and encourage you to explore it at cncement.org.

Have you heard the news? CNCA’s new website has launched and you can check it out here: cncement.org. You can easily identify which member of our team will best assist you with their area of expertise and you can directly connect with each of them. Remember, they will…

I'm grateful for the opportunity to be featured in this Northern California Public Media video. It's worth watching!

Thanks to @norcalpublic for this insightful video that provides an overview of decarbonizing cement in California with a focus on the role of SB596. It features insights from @JoshBecker, @TomTietz , and Tim Greutert of #Caltrans. bit.ly/48YAUZa

I was proud to lead a discussion at the INTERCEM Americas event in Los Angeles on 'California's Aggressive Journey to Net-Zero.' Thanks go to the panel that included Mark Sippola from @AirResources, Tim Greutert from @Caltrans, and Steve Regis from @CalPortland

I found these sidewalk stamps from 1904 and 1909 in a Portland neighborhood. These are a great testament to resiliency when the evidence shows no maintenance has been needed for over a century, saving materials and costs.

It's encouraging to see the EU Innovation Fund prioritize this full-scale Carbon Capture and Storage project in Germany. This type of leadership paves the way for addressing the financial challenges of CCS and accelerating its deployment.

Our new GeZero carbon capture project will be the first decarbonised cement plant as well as the first realisation of an entire CCS value chain solution for an inland location in Germany. We are proud that the EU Innovation Fund has chosen to support it. spkl.io/60164imYe

A nighttime visit to the Griffith Observatory was a reminder of why this reinforced concrete structure is LA’s ‘most recognizable and beloved building.’

While #concrete is a serious topic lately, this slide in San Francisco is nothing but fun!

We're grateful for @CalEnergy leadership visiting a @CalPortland plant last week and making the decarbonization of California's cement a priority.

It was an honor to help coordinate a tour for @CalEnergy staff and Commissioners Patricia Monahan and Andrew McAllister at @CalPortland plant in Mojave, CA. We appreciate their collaborative approach to energy efficiency and decarbonization.

Last week, @CNCA members and staff braved the elements to make 36 legislative office visits. We are grateful to the legislators and their staff that warmly received our messages about decarbonization and in-place #pavement recycling.

The aggregates we mine for our pavement sections are a finite resource. Pulverizing failed pavements with full-depth recycling allows you to reuse this rock in place. Huge economic and sustainability benefits that will help stretch our dwindling aggregate supply. #urbanquarry
