This is a simple equation for the athletic department: Find a way to get some of that money to football players. It's nice that you're building a new lacrosse stadium and all that. What your alumni/donors care about is the football program remaining elite. Period.
People wonder why Ohio State fans are frustrated with the athletic department. They are slow to react, slow to adapt, but also generated over $250M in revenue in 2022.
