Even though Roe is overturned, in many ways, the pro-life positions is in a worst place now than it was previously: 🧵 1. Abortions have gone up since the overturning of Roe. 2. Trump himself is not pro-life. And his influence has moved the GOP away from it as well.
Trump was an unintended Trojan horse. Pro-choice people couldn’t have wished for a better candidate for their cause—even if they didn’t realize it!
On one hand, I'm relieved Kamala won't be president. But...last night was a terrible night for abortion. Amendment 4 in Florida only failed because it required a 60% majority vote. It ended up getting over 57% approval despite the GOP performing quite strongly in the state.…
Unpopular opinion: Unless you live in a battleground state, you should not vote for one of the two primary presidential candidates. Doing so only perpetuates the duopoly that has got us into this mess. Instead, vote for a third party or withhold your vote. Not voting is voting.
