@Tightpants12Expect rants about the Yankees, most things nerd culture, and hopefully far less politics.

The fact that Jake Paul didn’t really do anything when Mike Tyson just stood there most of the fight and played defense says everything that needs to be said.
The absolute last thing Gronk needs is to get hit in the head, lmao.
YoGo is my dude. Big stuff. Still think there’s a very good reliever there.
With the right non-tenders and dumping most of Stro’s deal, the Yankees can re-sign Soto, Gleyber, Kahnle, Hill, Loaisiga AND sign Christian Walker at $290ish. Which leaves room for a D-Rob reunion and maybe Grichuk?for the bench? They can improve. We should accept nothing less.
For what it costs to get him, the Yankees must leave no stone unturned. Ichiro, Matsui, Tanaka, Kuroda should be at these meetings. All 30 teams should be gunning for him, but the Yankees need more than just Soto this winter and this is your top target after him.
Japanese star pitcher Roki Sasaki will be posted this winter and become a MLB free agent, per @chibalotte
I met Tony a few times, and he was the epitome of who you hope your heroes will be. Cannot say enough good thing about one of the most beloved horror icons of all time. The genre has lost an all time great, he will be missed.
Soto to first base would fix a bunch of situations. Judge back in RF where he’s a gem, removed Soto’s not amazing defense, and gives the Yankees a path to bring in an offensive bat for OF where there are many more options.
And here I thought it was the Yankees that would disappoint me the most this fall.
Oh man, that fucking hurts to hear.
“I will tell you this now publicly, I was so afraid to come back to Los Angeles for Game 6." -Dodgers manager Dave Roberts
Well that’s… interesting. Figured they’d at least confirm the fifth year.
Right-hander Gerrit Cole is remaining with the New York Yankees on the four-year, $144 million deal that he had opted out of, sources told ESPN. Discussions on a potential contract extension will continue. Essentially, it’s the same as if Cole did not opt out.
He’d be a pretty cool backup for a young left handed catcher and could be a pretty dope pinch hitter, me thinks. Just saying.
Rizzo is forever cool with me, but I can’t have another subpar offensive season at first base and while I love the dude, we need to be better offensively than 2024.
The Yankees have declined their 2025 club option for INF Anthony Rizzo.
I wonder if there might be a conversation to do a new contact, like six or seven years, but the last year or two has a real low salary in order to get more luxury tax room.
News at ESPN, free and unlocked, on New York Yankees ace Gerrit Cole opting out: The Yankees have until a TBD time on Sunday to void the opt-out by adding one year and $36 million to the four years and $144 million that were remaining on his contract: espn.com/mlb/story/_/id…
Tommy Tightpants is forever a Yankee and near the top of my resign list.
Monty for Stroman. Who says no?
If #DBacks are going to move on from Jordan Montgomery this offseason, it'll need to come via trade mlbtraderumors.com/2024/10/jordan…
He ain’t wrong. We deserve to be roasted for these flaws considering it’s what cost us the series.
If Boone’s connection with the players is so massive and key players want it so badly they can’t fire him, why not bring in a bench coach who is supremely fundamentals oriented? Boone can do his thing, the bench coach can do their thing? We don’t have to choose one or the other.
I don’t I’ll have a moment of peace until Passan tweets the Yankees have resigned Juan Soto. It’s gunna be a long winter.
Resign Soto, Gleyber, Kahnle, Lasanga. Ask the Blue Jays about Vladdy Jr. Do everything you can get Sasaki. Can’t go backwards offensively. Gotta resecure the bullpen.
