I wouldn't say either one is better or worse than the other Shadow Gens sacrifices the smooth cinematic camera and sense of speed that Sonic Gens has for more precise controls and better platforming akin to the Adventure games Comes down to preference
I have deduced that despite Shadow Generations being good, it still cannot match the greatness of Sonic Generations Shadow still has some Forces DNA with its movement and level design that was gained when Sonic Gens' gameplay engine was scrapped for Lost World's inferior one
