PITTSBURGH 8, VANCOUVER 7 (OT) Nick Ehlers had 2 goals and 3 assists and Bowen Byram scored the OT winner after J.T. Miller had tied it up with 39 seconds to play. Sidney Crosby scored twice and David Riitich made 63 saves. Roman Josi had 2 goals and 2 assists.


PITTSBURGH 4, MONTREAL 1 David Rittich made 50 saves and Sidney Crosby scored twice to hand Montreal its eighth straight loss. Brayden Point had a goal and an assist.


SAN JOSE 8, PHILADELPHIA 4 Leon Draisaitl had 2 goals and 2 assists and Joel Eriksson-Ek also scored twice as the Sharks scored 5 unanswered goals to matched their longest winning streak of the season. Andrei Svehnikov had a goal and 2 assists. Philly outshot San Jose 39-25


NEW JERSEY 4, CALGARY 3 Nazem Kadri scored twice as the Devils snapped Calgary's 5game winning streak. Jared McCann and Travis Sanheim each had 2 assists. Claude Giroux set up two for the Flames.


CHICAGO 3, ATLANTA 0 Connor made 24 saves for his 6th career shutout and his first since 2019. Jaccob Slavin scored the winner and Kyle Palmieri and Joe Pavelski also scored.


ATLANTA 7, FLORIDA 2 Ilya Sorokin returned from the DL to make 42 saves and Seth Jarvis scored twice. Filip Hronek set up three goals.


HARTFORD 7, PHILADELPHIA 6 The Flyrers scored 5 times in the third period but their comeback came up short as apparently spotting your opponent a 4-0 lead is not a wise strategy. Mark Stone had 2 goals and 2 assists and Chris Kreider also scored twice.


BOSTON 5, NEW JERSEY 1 Bruins legend Martin Jones made 31 saves and scrapheap king Brendan Smith and waiver wire star Jean Gabriel Pageau had 2 assists.


TORONTO 6, NEW YORK 3 Mattias Maccelli scored his first 2 career goals and Lucas Raymond had a goal and 2 assists as the Leafs won theor 4th in a row. Cale Makar had 3 assists.


CALGARY 3, PITTSBURGH 1 Johnny Gaudreau had a goal and an assist and Jordan Binnington made 22 saves to lead the Flames to their fourth straight win. Meanwhile, the Pens saw their 3 game unbeaten streak come to an end despite David Rittich making 33 saves against his former team


HARTFORD 7, SAN JOSE 5 The Whalers scored 3 unanswered goals in the final 7 minutes to continue San Jose's misery. Mark Stone scored twice and Morgan Rielly had a goal and 2 assists. Alex Pietrangelo scored twice and had an assist for the Sharks.


CHICAGO 4, PITTSBURGH 4 Frank Vatrano scored twice in the third period, including the tying goal, and David Rittich made 53 saves as two of the league's front runners played to a tie. Noah Hanifin had a goal and an assist fir the Hawks, who ran their unbeaten streak to 5 games.


VANCOUVER 7, ATLANTA 4 The real Breadman, Artemi Panarin, had a goal and 3 assists and Connor McDavid and Viktor Arvidsson each scored twice as the Canucks outshot Atlanta 77-25. Quinn Hughes had 3 assists.


CHICAGO 4, HARTFORD 3 (OT) Aleksander Barkov's second goal with 36 seconds left sent the game to overtime and Bo Horvat won it 1:15 into overtime. Jaccob Slavin set up the tying and winning goals, extending the Hawks winning streak to 4 games. Pytor Kochetkov stopped 45 shots.


NEW YORK 6, MONTREAL 1 Kyle Connor and Nikita Kucherov each had 2 goals and 2 assists and Charlie Lindgren made 43 saves as New York handed Montreal its seventh straight loss. Mark Schiefele had 2 assists.


BOSTON 5, FLORIDA 4 (OT) Thomas Harley scored 56 into overtime and Martin Jones made 34 saves for his first win since Apr. 14, 2019. Jack Hughes scored twice for the Panthers.


PHILADELPHIA 2, SAN JOSE 1 Matt Boldy awoke from hybernation to record his first point of the year, scoring the winning goal as the Flyers deated the 21/22 Flyers. Igor Shesterkin made 28 saves while Juuse Saros turned aside 43 shots for the Sharks.

66. Liam Greentree, RW, Chi 64-36-54-90 OHL High-end creativity, uses size to get to net. Lacks NHL speed. Top 9 winger. 65. Michael Hage, C, SJ 54-33-42-75 USHL Good size, ton of skill. Makes high-end plays in full flight. Inconsistent, plays perimeter. Middle 6 winger.
