Some Morrissey fans moan that the setlist is always the same but this isn’t true. I go to at least 1 concert a year & at Newark saw: Lazy Dykes for the 1st time in 20 years, Pigsty (18 years), Fatty & Shoplifters (11), Speedway & Far-off Places (8) + 3 songs for the 1st time ever
I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed writing a blog again. Now, if @QuentinsRisk or @DawnMistFades would lug himself/herself/themself back into The Wrong Arms, I could get writing again. Is it too much to ask? Yes, very probably. Nice to also reconnect with the old BRS gang.

The $200 Gucci handkerchief that Morrissey was mopping his brow with was thrown at me & @MOZISMYSHEPHERD Brian was far more agile than me (younger bones), and made the catch. A great souvenir. His daughter, Carly (sister of the BRS President, Kyle), had a night to remember too.

It was good to catch up with old friends in Newark this evening. As usual Moz was on top form. The blue rose was there…but it wasn’t accepted. Good to chat with Joey J again…he knows, you know. A very pleasant time was also spent with a certain football legend.
