#comics Another small mail call today. Won the Scooby Doo issue in last week's Lonestar Auction, and padded out the order with a handful of "run fillers" to extend some runs I am working on...

We voted early. Make sure you vote before it is too late!

Go Vote! My wife and I voted the second day of early voting. Make yourself heard, it's going to be tight and every vote in every race matters.

Aw man, I just learned Greg Hildebradt passed today. I first saw the art of the Bros. Hildebrandt in jr. high w/ the Shanara covers & soon after a Tolkien calendar. I became a huge fan & their work brought a lot of joy to my life. Rest well Greg & condolences to your kith & kin.

#DnD DMG alt cover in the house!

#comics So I did a thing and it turned up in today's mail... with DC kindly releasing a facsimile edition of #4, I now have the full run of Hawkman (just need a B&B 34 to have all the SA Hawk solo appearances).

We're coming back for more - Season 4!! #TheLegendofVoxMachina

More glorious adventures are ahead because #TheLegendofVoxMachina has been renewed for Season Four! Thank you so much for watching and be sure to tune in for the final three episodes to prepare for what’s to come!

It was Batday today. The issue of Tec was today's mailcall, and running errands with my wife took me near a Game Stop that had this lovely Batman Super Powers figure.

Looks amazing. I'll have to put it on my Christmas list!

We completed it in the office once, and at the house once.

If you haven’t checked out Conan the Barbarian by @JimZub, please do. It’s fresh out of the glory days of Conan storytelling. Art is amazing as well. I forget I’m not reading Barry Windsor Smith. Simply perfect. Do yourself a favor and pick it up.

Looking forward to seeing how this plays out. The Megos look good, and hope it puts eyes on comics & Megos that otherwise would never see them. NYCC '24: Atlas Comics are back, believe it or not comicsbeat.com/nycc-24-atlas-… via @comicsbeat

It's the birthday of Superman co-creator Jerry Siegel. Without Siegel, there might not be a comic book business as we know it. We all owe him an enormous debt.

#comics #JimiHendrix Latest read-Jimi Hendrix: Purple Haze by Mellow Brown, DJ Ben Ha Meen and Tom Mandrake published by Titan. A sci-fi parable centered on Hendrix's lyrics & vibe-a solid sci-fi tale elevated by Mandrake's mind-blowing art. Well worth checking out.
