Brussels and Bruges - a great trip with mates. A very decent number of Hearts travelling fans while there were a few numpties. Thankfully, the majority were in good form. Food and beer was top notch in both cities. Result and performance wasn't what it should be.

After an hour and a bit wait in the cold outside Tynecastle with like-minded and friendly Hearts fans, I can happily announce The Forthboy has an away end ticket for next week.

Like a lot of folk I've set up an account over on Blue Sky. TheForthBoy on there as well. Not leaving here just yet but it does feel like it's getting close to the end.

I've read through all the candidates' blogs over the past few days and chatted with friends about this election. For me, I think Paul Butler is the strongest candidate and is where one of my votes will be going. #FOH

So I have decided to put myself forward for the @The_FOH elections foundationofhearts.org/blogs/blog/fou… Here is my address

Hearts women brilliant on and off the park alas defeat at Hampden. However it's not about the winning but all about the experience and we are still smiling. @heartswomenfc @LizzieWaldie @jesshusband08 @MonicaForsyth1 @_jennapenman

Absolutely brilliant @heartscoaching play the game training session. Well done to all the coaches who were brilliant with the kids. Lucy had a ball and was desperate to spend the afternoon in the park kicking the ball about with this old man.

Sad. Pathetic. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Not one of the top 4 winners but delighted with our prize of a squad signed 21/22 top. (Coincidently her 1st year as a season ticket holder). Thank you @bighearts

With Gordon back and ready to go fair play to Zander Clark to keep 3 clean sheets in a row (one at Celtic Park). He produced a stand out moment tonight. Nice to see Shankland praising him in the post match interview.

Great night meeting the players @JamTarts Lucy cheesing Cammy remembered her from the calendar signing.

Just a point on this. VAR isn't at fault here. VAR advised the on field ref to review this. Therefore VAR did its job. The on field referee watched it again and still couldn't see it was a penalty. Incompent people in charge of VAR/on the field are the biggest issue.

How has the ref looked at this again (multiple replays) and not deemed a kick to the chest a penalty?
