Dear me in 1 year. I know you will be reading this. 2024 will be a tough year. You will go down a long path. A journey... Full of struggle. And doubt. And disappointments. But I will do my best to hang on. I will make you proud.
Today I was thinking about an exam I took last week. I had a feeling I failed. It was stressing me out Until my friend told me to take it easy. He told me it's better not to give it more attention. What's done is done. What's important is you move on and get better.
Feeling down? I have those days too. But remember... There are people in worse conditions... Yet they are still making it work. You have to keep going.
Not everything you do will be fun. You have to go through the pain before you achieve results. For example, I don't enjoy reading research papers... But I still read them so I pass my class. This goes for everything in life.
There were times when I struggled to find motivation. So I change my mindset from... "I need to" TO "I have to" Works every time.
I took an exam 2 days ago. I studied hard for 2 weeks and yet... I went in with text anxiety... Blanking out. I realized your mental state will dictate how you approach situations. Always try to be calm.
My responsibilities got bigger. These past 3 weeks were stressful. It only made me stronger.
I spent the last 5 hours solving this error in my code. I'm not bragging since I wish I could have solved it in 20 minutes. But it gave me a reminder I heard over 100 times. Persistence does win.
A big issue I see when people talk about their offers in their emails. They only focus on features, not on the benefits. Talk about what your clients will gain. Do you have a coaching program? Describe how it will help your clients grow their business. And give them success.
I helped my client increase his CTR. His CTAs were too long and unclear. So we shortened them and made them look appealing. Making sure they were easy to read. Resulting in a 10% CTR increase. Make your CTAs concise.
I worked with a coach who struggled to get his 1st client. So we worked on building authority through email. Making his readers confident in taking his offer. After 1 week, he got his 1st client. So if you're selling a coaching offer through email... Showcase your knowledge.
I helped my client gain 10 new people for his community. By highlighting its benefits. How it will help his readers achieve success. I also emphasized what will happen if the reader doesn't join. Making the problem sound painful.

I will be honest. I only read 1 copywriting book. It taught what I needed to know but it wasn't enough. I had to study emails and write my own copy. It helped me get better at the skill. Start practising.
Why do people struggle to get open rates? They over complicate there subject lines. Make them short. Make them easy to understand.
Why do story emails sell? Because they are the best way to showcase prove. Giving your reader a notion where they will receive the same results. Convincing them to buy your service.
