My assumption would be that the nflpa interpreted this benching threat as a form of discipline which wouldn't be allowed. May also explain the wait and reason why wilson isn't deactivated.

Something that has always irked me is when people misuse the words “sell” and “sale”…like when they say “for sell” when it should be “for sale”. It’s right up there with “you’re” and “your” for me. I can’t be the only one who’s noticed this.
