Anonymous Question: “I’m a PhD student currently teaching. Can I go clubbing in my university city? What if a student sees me?”

All rejected papers share one common flaw: a weak discussion section. I know because I used to write them too. If you're stuck on the discussion section, wondering how to tie it all together, this is for you:

5th year vs. 1st year phd candidates

$12k to publish in @Nature, but let's draw the line at differing seasons😂🤣

Stop using ‘summer’, ‘winter’ and the rest when inviting researchers to events — it’s a small step, but it’s necessary and inclusive go.nature.com/4dUMxT0

Just a regular day in the life of an academic. “Chopping” rejections is also good for character development right? In Naija parlance, “academia go whine you but no panic”. 😊😇 #ACADEMIA #phdvoice #PhD #AcademicChatter #AcademicTwitter

I absolutely love the fact that Mia Le Roux was crowned! I will take this “deaf girl” over 50 Chidinmas, cos this is what inclusion actually looks like. Making fun of her disability is really low. You people need to do better, honestly! #deafawarenessmonth

South Africa Looked at Chidimma Adetshina & said NO thats not what REAL AFRICAN BEAUTY should look like, Then Hounded the young girl till she Quit the Contest. Today A Deaf, Half French, White girl Mia Le Roux Won Miss SA 2024. I Couldn’t make this story up if I Tried. 🤣😭🚮
