Finally I want to say thanks to the players who helped us through donating, connecting with people that can help, or supporting us online. Poker in Texas is a thriving and growing industry. I am excited to continue to try to move it forward in years to come 👍

I want to give thanks to: Sam Von Kennel has done an excellent job of running @TexansForHoldem, worked hard and was professional every step of the way. Want to thank founding members @texascardhouse @SACARDHOUSE1 @ChampionsClubTX For the support

Sadly, a couple of weeks ago our poker bill 2345 officially died. We passed the house but ran into fierce anti gaming opposition from powerful people and could not overcome it. This was the furthest a poker bill has ever gotten in the state of Texas. Good sign for the future!

The @TexansForHoldem group, promoted by @DougPolkVids, @TexasCardHouse, and @LodgePokerClub, got some good news in their attempt to redefine Texas poker laws on Wednesday. Details here. bit.ly/3MHRAfI

Awesome news, we have won our vote in the Texas House Licensing committee 8-2. House Bill #2345 is moving onwards! This was a mandatory first step towards clarifying the law. Now on to the Calenders Committee! Can follow for updates on protecting Texas Poker @TexansForHoldem

HB2345 is currently pending after its hearing in the House Licensing and Administrative Procedures Committee. It is eligible to be voted on this Wednesday. We are very optimistic about the outcome of the vote.

Kind of unreal to be heading down to the capitol of Texas to try and change some laws, but have a good team in place and what we are asking for is sensible. Appreciate all the support from everyone for @TexansForHoldem

Big day for us at the capitol, our bill (HB 2345) is going to be heard in committee. If you would like to submit a public comment, or watch a live video feed, the information is below Hopefully this is the first step towards protecting poker in Texas capitol.texas.gov/tlodocs/88R/sc…
