Sickening. @dcdistrictdogs continues to ignore its own employees' concerns, leaving them and the dogs they care for in danger.

I have no idea how District Dogs is still in business. They were a horrible company even before their negligence killed 10 dogs last year. cc: @ANCCostello

I try to be optimistic and treat all people with respect & care. I have been criticized, interrogated, and questioned over this traumatic experience. My dog was stolen. It’s crazy that I’m defending myself in the midst of trying to get my baby back.

🚨 Our friend @Teffiney86’s dog, Hendrix, was just stolen today. 😭 She adopted him after she lost her sweet Memphis in August in District Dogs’ flood. 💔😞 Will post more details as I get them but if someone offers a dog for sale that looks like Hendrix, PLEASE let me know!

It’s been a week and all I have is more questions. Why wasn’t @districtdogs evacuated? Why weren’t we notified until hours later? Why did you delete our baby’s account already from the portal? Why “couldn’t she be saved” @jacobhensley? washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2023/…
