How heartbreaking is the picture below?! If you’re Canadian, please sign the petition to our government in the tweet below. It’s gaining a lot of momentum. Let’s keep it going!

This youngster was photographed last week with others at an Alberta feedlot where draft horses are collected before being flown to Japan for slaughter Please sign and keep sharing petition e-3187 to end this bit.ly/3v3nvfb @defendhorsescan @jannarden @animallawcanada

I’m not into shaming individuals but there r a few like this despicable excuse of a human being, #JacineJadresco, aka #inkedhuntress, who should be.We should be more upset that gov’t allows this. Chanel ure anger, contact ure local politician & demand that trophy hunting be banned.

An important critique of GDP, especially for those policy-makers and government leaders fixated on — politely I’d say “basic”, but more accurate to say, SIMPLISTIC — Econ 101/102 or other “dumb downed” econ courses they took in university or MBA programs. hbr.org/2019/10/gdp-is…

The @_BCCOS officer says they r looking for a “large black bear”. Wow, well that narrows it down to knowing which bear it was! Might as well just kill any that fits that description, because, you know, there’s only one “large black bear” around. 🤦🏻How about leave the bears alone.

Dear ⁦@CityofPoMo⁩ residents: can we pls remember that #bears live here too & there’s no need to kill them. They r walking around now to eat berries, not you. We also have to be much more responsible w/ our own behaviour. Leave them alone! cbc.ca/news/canada/br…

They absolutely have to stop this moronic, cruel practice! Thank you so much, Rebeka, for the good fight to save the Pacific Wolves! #savebcwolves @pacificwild @VancityReynolds

Did u know the BC gov’t is using snipers from helicopters to kill entire packs of wolves in some areas of the province? I’m acting for @pacificwild to end the govt’s unlawful wolf cull. Please support them, if u can. Grateful to @VancityReynolds for his help. #savebcwolves

The phony narrative that most sport hunters love & respect nature has ALWAYS been TOTAL BS. Reality is HUGE majority of so-called “sport” hunters are beer-swilling meatheads who LOVE killing helpless animals. That BC govt fears & enables these wanna-be macho idiots is disgusting!

A perfect example of what happens when the BC gov’t increases the # of hunting licenses without increasing oversight & enforcement. Is this what we should expect for the “conservation” & protection of BC wildlife from our gov’t? Absolutely shameful. victoriaanimalnews.com/a-crucified-be…

Such a sweet “chatty” interactive little kitty! 😊

1: Recently, I had a case where my client has early onset dementia & he depends on his 2 cats for emotional support. The strata tried to evict his cats b/c it’s a no pet building. We fought hard & the strata ended up letting him keep these & future cats. straight.com/news/rebeka-br…

Exactly! Pure “recreation” for the larger (much much larger) majority of these hunters. It’s sickening! I KNOW you are right!!

I understand that some hunters eat their kill. This doesn’t make hunting right. The reality is that the vast majority of “sport” hunters kill for the “fun” of it, & not b/c they really need the meat. You can’t argue w/ that. U know I’m right.

A beautiful article written about #Takaya, the lone wolf, who was so needlessly killed earlier this week. I hope that the outpouring of love for this wolf, and the outrage about his killing will send a strong message to gov’t to ban trophy hunting in #BC. theguardian.com/environment/20…

Ditto. “20” ditto? So is that “2020”? Well, hopefully my “drift will be gleaned”. Y’know? What Helen Kingston said! 😊🥂🎆

Good night and good luck.

She’s SO cute. And I love her little Christmas Tree. 🎄 #LovedKitty

Love the comment, Miss Thang! So true!!

We have some right-wing think tank survey results according to “oh-so-wise, noble, and completely unbiased” OIL executives who I’m sure have no vested interests, shares, etc. in the oil & gas, and pipeline industries.
