Yup there’s simply nothing “missing” amapiano has this beautiful thing where all the pockets of space are right where they need to be. Anything filling in that space is actually overkill. This video is cute but the original song did everything it needed to.
THIS!! I need ya’ll to remember that Water is an Amapiano song and that Tyla mainly makes that kind of music with a bit of pop/Rnb fusion. Please embrace the genre of music instead of trying to change it to fit into your own narrative.
This would be the perfect edit if Water was a RnB song but as an amapiano song you wouldn’t want this and a super focus on the vocals because the beat of the song needs to shine just as much in that genre.
