@TSRCapitalEnergy partnership CIO. Always long $VOO. Not financial advice—do your own research.
Stock based comp is a dangerous beast. Some companies have a lot of FCF getting eaten by it. always remember to adjust for SBC
$CVE is down a lot, but I'm still buying. Under 16 is a good price for this stock for long-term (2027) investors. #oott
Warren Buffett once said, “The first rule of an investment is don't lose [money]. And the second rule of an investment is don't forget the first rule. And that's all the rules there are.”
I sometimes think about going 100% into ETFs for my personal portfolio. It would reduce stress significantly, especially since I already handle the pressure of managing other people's money.
There is peace of mind in having the majority of your portfolio in an S&P 500 ETF like $VOO. It's just predictable in the long run.
Carl Icahn sharpens his focus as $IEP pivots: with a dividend cut and 38% YTD decline, Icahn Enterprises is betting on major returns from a Nashville scrapyard sale and boosting its stake in CVR Energy. ft.com/content/a8430e… via @ft
$SEDG can’t catch a break. I remember the lofty days at $300 per share, when everyone was shouting that solar was a buy...
Writer: "If the president’s gonna ask you to leave, are you gonna leave?" Powell: "No." Writer: "Aren't you required by law?" Powell: "No."
$PM 5% drop is on rate and currency fear. This isn't a long term issue for the tobacco industry leader. Might be a chance to jump in before ZYN truly explodes.
$BRK.B up, stronger than the market. Trump win really sent financial stocks flying 😂
Trump win might signal the start of a new oil glut. No wonder oil is down this morning. #oott
A lot of friends who don't invest at all called me to see if they can make a fortune off $DJT. It's so risky, and I think it's best to sit on the sidelines for this show.
I still see $CVE as a value play, just a long-term one. at least you get some dividend it the meantime. Once downstream is fixed (maybe in 2026) or somehow sold, this gonna run up hard. #oott #Oil #NatGas
$BCE management got it wrong. With shares at 9X P/E and heavy debt, they should focus on debt reduction and buybacks—not buying another debt-heavy business. Pausing dividend growth is a poor move. bce.ca/news-and-media…
$ZTS coming in with strong revenue growth at 11% and net income growth at 16% and a double beat. EPS: $1.58 vs est $1.45 Revenue: $2.39B vs est $2.289B the stock up 2.7% pre-market to $187 I'm bullish on this stock and have a position with avg cost of $180.
Just remembered that Buffett hinted at a big move into a Canadian company for $BRK.B . $CNQ comes to mind—they've got high-quality assets, the right scale, and a strong commitment to shareholder returns. Feels like a perfect match and great use for that cash pile. #OOTT
Big week of earnings. Personally, looking at $ZTS and $HSY. $SMCI will definitely be interesting after the long delay on the 10-K and EY resignation.
