Do you use vignettes as a worldbuilding tool? Check out this piece by @AlliPAuthor on the subject: writers.company/vignettes-your…

Had to face one of the hardest things a person will ever go through the other day. Grief over losing your mom is not an easy thing to handle.

No matter the size of your audience, remember that those are real people. If ten people showed up to your house tomorrow morning excited to learn from you, would you take that seriously? Then treat those early few blog readers or podcast listeners with the same enthusiasm.

I think we typically think of books or movies or TV shows when we try call up some of our favorite stories. But let's not forget video games! I've found myself looking back at games I've played and realizing just how much I loved the stories.

That's right! I found the Stargate! And yes, I did see the dhd. Right here in Ohio!

Yes!!!

Corporations are what they sell, because they don’t have a face. Only people have faces. If you can put your face on your dream biz--you've just informed the world that you're a real human, a friend whom clients would like to work with.

Let's do it! I'm in starting June 10!

Much respect to my #NaNoWriMo friends, but 30 days is just too fast to write a novel. Join me and over 130 other writers in the 90-Day Novel this summer. writers.company/90daynovel

The expertise of the advisors you hire is only as valuable as the degree to which you apply their advice.

I know a lot of people struggle trying to learn about The Holy Bible. That’s why Bible study and Sunday school is so important to us believers. It’s no shame to ask a Pastor, Deacon or Minister for help in understanding GOD’s Word.

True!

One method of discussing stories that mildly annoys me is when people are primarily focused on the author's life and how it influenced the stories they write. It's not that an author's life doesn't deeply affect their writing...but this kind of discussion misses the point. 1/

I don't post on here often, and that could change soon maybe? In any case, I'm really excited about a potential writing opportunity. Just editing a piece right now before I submit.

There's a lot to learn from gardening. At harvest time you will only have what you planted and cared for. This is true for relationships, too, with family and with God. What are you planting and tending in the garden of your life? #grammylovesjesus #thegreatexposure

I saw this posted today and it resonated with me so much, I wanted to share it. This excerpt says: "...In other words, he [the character] has to die, not physically, but metaphorically. The old person he used to be goes away, and a new person replaces him."

One thing Lewis got right in his depiction of Aslan that I have not seen from many authors since him is what it means to portray God as some that should be both loved and feared.
