May I not-so-humble-brag about this 😀 I got a Fernström prize, which goes to 1 scientist under 45 from each of the 6 medical faculties of Sweden per year. Very grateful for the distinction. It was my 1st time to have had a 🎺trumpet fanfare🎺 follow my speech about ion channels!
The Swedish Fernström Prize 2023 has been awarded to @ntoniosPantazis for his work on ion channels. His lab aims to unravel the molecular mechanisms of ion channels and their role in various diseases, such as epilepsy, arrhythmias, and muscle dystrophies liu.se/en/news-item/a…
