I'm definitely in the minority on this and piling on Eberflus is easy... but I think the kicker should be expected to make a 45 yard FG. Much bigger criticism on not going for it in 4th and 3 the offensive series before. Or giving up the go-ahead score against his defense.

Marc Trestman, Matt Nagy and Matt Eberflus all sound eerily similar in these press conferences after similar play calls😳

The ending to Bengals/Chargers was such a perfect troll to how the Bears managed the hail mary against the Commanders. 🤣

Eddie Jackson turning his ankle instead of just going down in the end zone. One of those little forgotten moments before the double doink the following week.

I never knew how lucky it was to experience a team this good. Mitch trubisky and the defense made us believe…

Breer reports that Caleb Williams wasn’t as ready with full knowledge of the playbook as the Bears had hoped for. Yet it seems to me like they’re putting a ton on his plate with pre-snap calls. Something doesn’t add up.

From TNF Nightcap—More on the @Chiefs injuries, the @ChicagoBears tumult and an AWESOME group of kids I got to work with this fall.

This definitely feels like trying to put out a fire with a squirt gun. Missing the elephant in the room. Regarding Thomas Brown, I’m done trying to predict coordinator success in the NFL.

Sources: Shane Waldron is out as #Bears offensive coordinator. Thomas Brown is expected to take over.

Everything is so damn complicated for a football team that isn't any good. - Monday after Washington, Eberflus should've said he messed up and owned everything. It's a 1-day story. - Today, announce Shane Waldron won't be the play caller and that's the end of that story. lol

Matt Eberflus sounds defeated while trying to sound optimistic. Also said there will be changes but he's "not going to disclose those right now."

This was said after the Bears beat the Panthers at home.

.@JasonLieser: “The Bears are low-key pretty well-run right now. They’re really not the same old Bears.” Watch the full segment: shorturl.at/se9bX

The game is out of reach. Will Matt Eberflus needlessly play Caleb Williams to fight to the end?

Damn, targeting Cole Kmet didn't solve all of the Bears' offensive issues!

Sideline defense time for Matt Eberflus!

I was someone who wanted the Bears to lose the games they ended up winning late last season. I wanted it to be clear and obvious that an upgrade at HC was needed before this season. Alas, there are consequences to accepting mediocrity.

Would you root for the Bears to lose Sunday if you knew Flus would be fired Monday?

I have no idea how this turns out but weren’t the “in-game” odds massively favoring Trump in 2020? I distinctly remember every Twitter bettor called it for Trump right around this time 4 years ago.

Market is RIPPING Trump 👀📊 Friendly reminder that markets are the only thing that matters, Money talks.

Uhhhh... So I just discovered half frozen uncrustables where the jelly is melted but the peanut butter is frozen.... And I think it's the best thing I've ever had in my life. Is this common knowledge?

I thought it was really bizarre they didn't use Herbert at all this season. They clearly want to be a running team, but don't use their 2 most physical backs that can wear down a defense. They give all the non goal line carries to a small back who tries to avoid contact. Weird.

We have traded Khalil Herbert to the Bengals in exchange for a 2025 seventh-round draft pick

There’s a lot of criticism about this. Remember that Ryan Poles emphasized that the Bears not folding last year was a really important factor for retaining Matt Eberflus. Apples to apples? Not sure. But there’s precedent of “fight to the end” mattering to this organization.

Matt Eberflus on why Caleb Williams, who limped off with an ankle injury, was left in the game for the final drive down 20 points: "The starters we're left in the game because we're going to fight to the end."

If Caleb Williams is out for any period of time, can Matt Eberflus be forced to sit for the same amount of games? That’s accountability right? (I know you all want him fired but let’s remember who the Bears are, lol)

Eberflus is just not qualified to be an NFL head coach.

Leaving CW out there was a fireable offense.

Predictions…. What will Eberflus say that will enrage the fanbase after the game? My bet is being proud of his defense only allowing 6 points in the 2nd half.

Bad news Bears fans. This is the last game we won’t have political ads to distract us from the Bears. Sad.

He knows he’s finished. When Eberflus blames himself for something, he knows he’s in trouble.
