Maybe it's the exhaustion of seeing so many communities burn and residents fleeing and losing everything and smoke suffocating our summers with growing regularity, but it seems like we should probably have a grown-up talk about wildfires now.
I'm supposed to fly at 9am on westjet. My only sliver of hope is that my flight is not yet canceled. To me, that means they are still fighting for a resolution this evening. If they had given up on finding a deal tonight, my flight would already be canceled.
This afternoon, #yeg!
People were asking about this: it’s at the legislature, 12-2 tomorrow
Driving down #QE2 today I saw UCP election signs in the hwy right of way, not on private land, which I thought was not allowed. And one of the signs was Devin Dreeshen, Minister of Transportation and guy who should know better. Are these signs legal? #abvote #ableg @ABTransComm
She added: “My view is that the entire budget for general practitioners should be paid for from health spending accounts.”

To all the people unable to check in on @FlairAirlines, we just checked-in at the airport, they were helpful and the waived the fees. It is their system that is the issue. #flair

The clarification for the Sovereignty Act changing laws by OC is that Cabinet can't act without robust direction from the leg. Ok, if true, then why bother changing the process to amend a law? Generally 3 readings and full public debate gives good robust direction. #AbLeg
Alphonso Davies has an INCREDIBLE story: He was born in a refugee camp in Ghana after his parent's escaped the Liberian Civil War. He moved to Canada at 5 years old & learned soccer through a free after-school program. And now he has scored Canada's first-ever World Cup goal.
I'm genuinely confused by this story. Does this not happen regularly in other provinces? Wouldn't it be worse if the government was given a freebie by a private broadcaster? What exactly is being implied here?
…. Don’t they always?
EXCLUSIVE: Alberta premier paid broadcaster for TV address. canadaland.com/alberta-premie…
Hi @JordanWalkerAB and @nateglubish Sherwood Park constituent here. Our community does not want an Alberta Provincial Police Force. It is clear. Do not support the unelected Premier. Do what your community wants. #shpk #strathco
What allegedly happened to Gambler and her daughter “proves Indigenous lives continue to be less important than others in Alberta’s health care system.” #yeg edmontonjournal.com/news/local-new…
Very. Excited.
Bound by tradition. The award winning series returns 9th November.
