It's a lot of money to spend in one go. But once the kids are kitted out, a lot of them manage to get themselves to primary school independently. Their lucky parents save time, energy, and petrol that must add up to at least €269 over four years, especially if we count the time.
I know I’ve only been in Germany for 8 months, but €269 for a children’s backpack will never not be shocking—especially considering most of the younger children have them.
Went out in the rain for a little bike ride and enjoyed some March sunshine.
