Louisiana Project Grant Program application are now being accepted. The deadline to apply is Friday, July 1, 2022 at 5pm! More information can be found at stpgov.org/cca CCA staff will be hosting an informational webinar on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 10am.

World Storytelling Day, next Sunday March 20th, will be celebrated in St. Tammany with an event put on by the Commission on Cultural Affairs. The event will be held at 3 pm at the Firehouse Event Center in Covington. Join us for this free community event!

The annual @PoetryOutLoud Competition for region 9 was hosted virtually this year by the CCA. The top three finalists who will advance to the State Championship on March 12th are as follows: 1st Place, Jacob Simmons of CHS; 2nd, Valerie Henderson; and 3rd Place, Bella Rusche.

We are excited to announce that along with @STPGOV President Cooper, we will host the 15th Annual President's Arts Awards on Nov 18th at NTCC, with a reception from 5:30-7 pm, followed by the awards ceremony at 7 pm. The event is to honor ten St. Tammany artists and patrons.

As a result of Hurricane Ida, there are local arts orgs in need. They have reached out to us for help with roof damage, flooding, and general clean up or repairs. Last year, we set up a fund with @northshorecomm to immediately grant assistance. Please consider making a donation

This week we were excited to bring arts programming to the Slidell Unit - Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana and Covington Unit - Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana. Accomplished artist and teacher, Emile Henriquez, shared a lesson on basic drawing techniques.
